Micro-credentials and Professional Short Courses

Designing Micro-credentials and Professional Short Courses

What?

From drafting learning outcomes to selecting digital technologies to enhance learning online, this all-day workshop will cover key elements of designing a micro-credential (m-c) or professional short course (PSC) with asynchronous and synchronous learning activities.

The Course Planner document has been developed for this workshop to guide you in developing constructively aligned learning outcomes, learning activities and assessments. You can also access the PowerPoint Slides and voice-over to see what this workshop involves.

There will be plenty of time to get started on your own m-c or short course so please come with a topic in mind (or your approved m-c! ) to work with while designing your course.

The Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) education designers and digital experts will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate the use of digital technologies to enhance engagement and learning.

Participants can select this workshop with face-to-face delivery (COVID-19 friendly) or via zoom (see dates below). Places are limited, register your interest by completing the form.
