I am wondering if you will be comparing this against for example OBS. I am mainly interested in having videos where I can join the power point to make it a bit more Dynamic. However, I saw the examples of powtoon in their webpage and they looked very popular for the younger years in highschool and college, maybe not as formal for the University… or? I would be interested to see the advantages for our more serious/dedicated Uni. Students.
Hi Vladimir, thank you for reaching out to Staff Education. The Powtoon workshop is facilitated by an external presenter so I have passed on your query to them for further clarification. From our perspective, we have seen Powtoon being used in higher ed to illustrate complex concepts, animate specific in-class activities, case studies, scenarios etc, giving the course content a more dynamic experience.
Hi Vladimir,
Our presenter has advised that this workshop will demonstrate how to use Powtoon, and will not cover any other software reviews i.e. OBS. Do let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks, Staff Education Team.
