This workshop focuses on the processes, policy and procedure and new guidelines on the roles of the Colleges and CLT regarding the establishment of micro-credentials at ANU. Designing Micro-credentials and Professional Short Courses

From drafting learning outcomes to selecting digital technologies to enhance learning online, this all-day workshop will cover key elements of designing a professional short course or micro-credentials (m-c) with asynchronous and synchronous learning activities.

There will be plenty of time to get started on your own micro-credential or short course so please come with a topic in mind (or your approved m-c! ) to work with while designing your course.

The Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) education designers and digital experts will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate the use of digital technologies to enhance engagement and learning.

Enrolment and Hosting for Micro-credentials and Professional Short Courses

What?

The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) is holding a one hour info session that takes you through the support and services offered by the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) team, including CCE enrolment, administration and host LMS (Troodle) features so that you have the information needed to prepare your course for online delivery (screen shots of Troodle LMS, enrolment and participant payment options will be shown via Zoom). The process, cost and CCE hosting form for 2020 will also be discussed.

The Course Planner document has been developed for this workshop to guide you in developing constructively aligned learning outcomes, learning activities and assessments. You can also access the PowerPoint Slides and voice-over to see what this workshop involves.

There will be plenty of time to get started on your own m-c or short course so please come with a topic in mind (or your approved m-c! ) to work with while designing your course.
